Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF)
Admissions to the PRTF Program are scheduled Monday through Thursday, 9AM-5PM. Referrals are most often received from state agencies such as:
Department of Social Services
Department of Mental Health
Governor's Office of Continuum of Care
Department of Juvenile Justice
Intensive Foster Care and Clinical Services
PRTF admissions come from all over South Carolina and North Carolina. SpringBrook accepts SC and NC Medicaid for children under 18, several insurance carriers, and private pay. If a child is not from SC or NC, it is possible to arrange a payment plan with his or her state's Medicaid program.

Adult Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Program
Admissions to the Adult Acute Psychiatric Program are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SpringBrook can admit voluntary and involuntary patients 18 and older who are:
Severely depressed
Experiencing significant thinking process disorders
Experiencing a level of anxiety that inhibits normal daily activity
Threatening harm to self or others
Demonstrating other symptoms of severe psychiatric problems
SpringBrook accepts Medicare, most insurance carriers, and private pay.
