CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT:
INTENSIVE DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM
A SHORTER STAY
The SpringBrook Intensive Residential Program serves children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional impairments. This shorter-term program is designed for a length of stay of 30, 60, or 90 days. Our clinicians efficiently assess the child or adolescent’s diagnosis and engage the primary caregivers in developing the best plan of care for continued treatment.
Treatment plans are completed within a week of admission by Masters-leveled
clinicians who utilize standard assessment tools used in the long-term Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program in addition to unique tools that pinpoint specific aspects of the child or adolescent’s diagnosis.
At the end of 30 days, an interdisciplinary team presents a compilation of all
diagnostic data collected and provides a detailed plan for the child or
adolescent’s future treatment.

SUPPORTING THE GAINS MADE AT SPRINGBROOK
The lessons learned at SpringBrook provide a solid basis for continued growth and success. It is important, however, to plan the transition from SpringBrook to the child's community living environment. Aftercare planning begins when treatment begins. SpringBrook professionals work with families, the local school, youth serving agencies, and other health and mental health professionals to facilitate a successful return to the community.
